Guwahati: Social activist Anna Hazare has started a massive agitation on the issue of Jan Lokpal bill against the BJP Government. Hazare is towards Assam and later, he will go for Arunachal Pradesh before heading to New Delhi, the report said.
According to sources, in his two-day visit to the North-Eastern States, Hazare will address about issues related to Jan Lokpal Bill in a press conference which is scheduled on December 15 at Guwahati Press Club. Later on, Hazare will then visit Arunachal Pradesh for a rally in Itanagar.
Meanwhile, there were reports in the media that social activist Anna Hazare will be in the State to protest against Akhil Gogoi’s arrest and he will also hold a movement against the superstitious crimes in the state.
Reacting to that, Dibyajyoti Saikia, social activist and Member Core Committee Team Anna from Assam said that Anna Hazare is here for a special cause which is the implementation of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
Kisan Baburao Hazare, popularly known as Anna Hazare, is an Indian social activist who led movements to promote rural development, increase government transparency, and investigate and punish corruption in public life.
