Guwahati: Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has again in the talks. In the recent incident, an organization Sachetan Nagarik Mancha has filed an FIR against the Former CM on Tuesday as alleging him of being completely involved in the infamous APSC scam.
As per reports, the organization filed an FIR at the Dispur Police Station and stated that the scam would have never been possible if Former CM had not allowed and thus he needs to be brought into the scanner. He needs to be brought into the investigation process.
Meanwhile, some sources also said that the organization has not only alleged Gogoi’s involvement into the APSC scam but they have alleged that Gogoi was also involved in the DIPR Rs 33 crore scam and so he needs to be brought into this investigation as well As soon as possible.
Tarun Gogoi (Assamese: তৰুণ গগৈ) is an Indian politician who served as the Chief Minister of Assam from 2001 to 2016. He is a member of the Indian National Congress and led the party to a record three consecutive electoral victories in Assam. He completed 15 consecutive years as Chief Minister of Assam on 18 May 2016.
