Imphal: A Clash has taken the place in Imphal where five militants of the banned People’s Liberation Army (PLA) have been killed in an exchange of fire between NSCN-IM and PLA. The incident has come into the light at Makan in Manipur’s Kamjong district today.

According to the reports, the incident has happened at about 5.30 am near the Indo-Myanmar international border, 53 km away from Kasom Khullen police station. Police officials said that the further details are still awaited.

Three PREPAK Militants Arrested Near Indo-Myanmar Border

The Indo- Myanmar Border has again come into the talks. In the recent event, three PREPAK militants have been arrested.
According to the reports, counter insurgency operations continue in the Indo- Myanmar border in Tegnoupal district of Manipur, a combined team of Moreh PS and 11 AR led by OC Moreh Inspt H. Chaoba Singh under the command of SDPO Moreh Lawrence K. Munluo have arrested the hardcore militants of PREPAK (PRO) from Sunrise Ground in border town of Moreh.

The arrested have revealed that they were coming from B-2 Camp, located in Taga, Myanmar to commit disrupting activities at Moreh.

While they are identified as self-styled corporals, Waikhom Bidyananda Tampakpuba (25), S/O W.Iboyai Singh of Thoubal Mayai Leikai, Army no. 44974, Kongrailatpam Bisharup, First (24)S/O K.Ramananda Sharma of Uripok Haobam Dewan Leikai bearing army no. 41931 and Pebam Kokngang, Kathokpa (23)S/O (L)P.Ningthempishak of Nambol Tera Makhong, Army no.42950.
