Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland continuing its first phase of booth-level workers training meeting, now organized training for 4th Ghaspani-1 and 6th Tening Mandals on December 21.
BJP highlights many welfare schemes
BJP Nagaland has recently organised training for the 4th Ghaspani-1 and 6th Tening Mandals ahead of Assembly elections.
State President Lhoungu said that in the state, there were more than 60 development departments and these departments were not for individual benefits but for community development.
Adding to this he also said that there were various welfare schemes and programmes for woman and children, youth, differently-abled and rural, but goods were not reaching the right doorsteps but this would continue with the present setup.
He stated that BJP under PM Modi’s guidance can only cater peace and development in Nagaland.
Talking on the Naga political issue, he said that BJP leaders have shown its sincerity and eagerness for early solution and peace in the region and reiterated that BJP provides equal opportunity to and timely implementation of the development agendas if it comes to power.
On the issue of BJP as a Hindu party and anti-Christian party, he said that “the talks were only in Nagaland and that other political parties have no points so they speak on religious lines only to tarnish the image of the party growth”.
He also added that central BJP leaders never insisted on religious lines rather tell them to respect each other and as the majority in Nagaland, they need to be good Christians.
Speaking on the occasion Vizo, he said, BJP aims at building “one nation, strong nation, and total development”.
State President also said that the recent victory of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh speaks volume and that the negative propaganda against the party had failed.
He further added that if people wanted stability with good governance and performance in Nagaland, BJP is the “only alternative in the state that can bring transformation and reformation.”
