PM Modi is All Set for First Visit of Mizoram
- During his visit, PM may address a public meeting at the Assam Rifles ground

Aizawl: The Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi is all set for his first visit to the state of Mizoram. Pm has scheduled to make his maiden visit to Mizoram on December 16, a release informed today.
As per reports, during his visit, PM may address a public meeting at the Assam Rifles ground, where he may inaugurate a 60-MW Tuirial Hydro Electric Project.
According to some police officials, security will be boosted during the prime minister’s visit for sure. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Mizoram people on their Statehood Day, expressing his desire to see development usher into the states.
Prime Minister said that statehood Day greetings to the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh. May the state scale new heights of development in the coming times. On their Statehood Day, my greetings to the people of Mizoram. I pray that Mizoram progresses immensely in the years to come.
Mizoram is a state in Northeast India with Aizawl as its capital city. The name of the state ‘Mizoram’ is derived from “Mizo”, the name of the native inhabitants, and “Ram”, which means land, and thus Mizoram means “land of the Mizos”.
