Prime Minister Narendra Modi held two election rallies in the poll-bound Tripura today. In both the rallies, PM lashed out at the ruling Communist Party and highlighted its failure as a government in the state for 25 years.

CPIM has to answer for the 25 years of misrule

The Star Campaigner of BJP, PM Narendra Modi with an intention of giving a final push to the election campaign for the party before the assembly elections in the state, was present in Tripura.

Here, he held two rallies in the two regions of the state, starting it with a rally in Shantir Bazar and this was followed by a rally in Asthabal Maidan in the capital city, Agartala.

During the rally, PM lashed out at the ruling Communist Party in the state and stated that the party has failed as a government.

PM in a statement said, “People of Tripura have suffered for 25 years due to the misrule of Left party. I urge people of the state to remove them from power.”

Adding to this, PM also stated, “The time has come to give an account of what they have been enjoying for 20-25 years. To open the door of development of Tripura, you have to press the button on 18th,” PM urged 

Lashing out at the policies of the Communist Party, PM quoted the 7th Central Pay Commission and also question, “What is the reason that Left government in Tripura is neither ensuring the minimum wages and nor implementing the recommendations of seventh pay commission.”

During the rally, PM also highlighted the recent attacks on the workers of BJP and the alleged murders done by the CPIM workers in the state.

When these Left people kill innocents, it is certain that they are shaken with defeat,” PM stated.

PM also stated, “the Communist Party does not believe in ‘gantantra'(Republic) they believe in violence & ‘gun-tantra’.”

“Now the people of Tripura will not stand the Communist party’s govt, bid them such a farewell that they cannot return and these systems of looting the people of the state should be stopped,” PM Modi said in the rally.

Raising his concerns about the termination order of 10,323 Government teachers of Tripura living in uncertainty these days, PM promised to uplift these teachers and promised to find a way for them.

Adding on to the statement, PM promised the people of the state that if they choose BJP as their next government, the state will come on the track of the development and one day Tripura will be the most developed state in the whole nation.
